Why B5 – Pantothenic acid

Like Siliphos®, B5 raises glutathione levels inside your cells, and like berberine, it modulates inflammatory cytokines.

Neutralize Toxicity
Reduce Inflammation

Pantothenic acid, also known as Vitamin B5, is an essential nutrient to all forms of life.

Pantothenic acid is involved in the synthesis of crucial signaling molecules such as steroid hormones and acetylcholine, and is also a cofactor in creating the building blocks of our cell membranes: phospholipids (contained in all cell membranes) and sphingomyelin (prevalent particularly in nerve cells).1

A number of crucial biological reactions require vitamin B5– in particular, the production of energy: adenosine-5′-triphosphate (ATP) and mitochondrial Coenzyme A synthesis cannot happen without B5.2,3

Additionally, vitamin B5 plays a major role in cellular defense and in repair systems. Like Siliphos®, B5 is able to raise the levels of glutathione inside your cells, and like berberine, it modulates the production of inflammatory cytokines such as Tumor necrosis factor-alpha.4,5

All of these play a significant role in cellular protection, and in the healing systems that work to ameliorate oxidative stress and temper the inflammatory response.
